The book "The Memory Keeper's Daughter" is written by Kim Edwards and produced by Penguin Books. Kim Edwards was born in Texas but was raised in New York. She earned two Master Degrees, one in arts degree in linguistics and one for a writers workshop both earned in Iowa. She has one two awards; Whiting Award and the Nelson Algren Award. "The Memory Keepers Daughter" was a 2006 Book of the Year by USA today. In the book, it's set in the late 60’s to the late 80’s and is placed in Kentucky. Dr. David Henry and his wife Nora Henry are expecting a baby but then when they get to the hospital they have twins. One is a perfect boy named Paul and the other comes out with down syndrome and their called Mongoloids, Phoebe. When the doctor finds out whathis daughter is he sends his nurse, Caroline, to take her to a home for "their kind". When she gets to the house she is disgusted with it and keeps the baby for herself and goes back to her home in Lexington. When she stops at the store to get some formula her car won't start and she is stuck in the storm cold and with a crying baby. A friendly truck driver comes into the parking lot and offers to take her there. Al, the truck driver stays the night and starts to like Caroline. As the story goes on Caroline and Al pose as Phoebe's parents and only Dr. Henry knows the baby is still alive as he told his wife that she died at birth. He constantly sends his nurse money for the child and she sends him pictures that he stores away in a secret place. He pretends to live his perfect life with his wife and his son but he is eaten away at the fact that his daughter is doing great but he can't go near her. The story goes on with secrets and lies and an impact on life for everyone. Dr. Henry seems to regret the biggest decision of his life.
This book is a great book to read. It talks about life and decisions and secrets. How far is to far to go just to save pain from the ones you love. Dr. Henry thought he could keep a big secret from his wife so she wouldn't have to deal with the pain of their daughter maybe dying, when she lives a fulfilling life. Judging doesn't get you anywhere but into a deeper hole. This book is powerful and full of love and regret. It shows you what extremes people take and how people might be different, they're still loving wonderful people. Down Syndrome doesn't make you different or bad, you just think differently then others. This book was great and very powerful as I said before. A great book to read if you want to be impacted or inspired. If you like love, mystery and deep messages I suggest to read this book.

These products are shoes. On is Converse, the other is Vans. Converse are meant for more relaxed, laid back teenagers. Vans are meant for skater more active teenagers. The way these ads caught my eye was the Vans you could tell were skater and the writing gives it more of an edge and a texture of chill. The Converse have a more sharp appeal that everyone wants, even the gum. I think that what else is being sold if freedom, other than the gum these shoes give you the chance to go places. They're very chill, relaxing shoes and they make a look in different ways. It's a way to be casual and to be yourself just giving some edge or style. It's a way to let loose and relax and have some fun.
