You know. Laying in bed right before you go to sleep strikes so many things to go through your head. So, I know it's strange, but I love my dog. Okay...that's not strange, but I was petting my dog and I just realized how much I love him. We got him when I was in 7th or 8th grade, before my grandpa passed away. My grandma got him as a christmas present and he was so scared. His paws, tail and around his face were yellow because of the drool and pee stains from the kennel. We saved his life and now he's fat and happy. He was so scared but we loved him. He was going to be a lap dog. He's forty pounds now.
My point being is you know that thought that gets put into your head, either you put it there or someone else does?
That's the thought I got. Like in The Giver, they are placed with a specific amont of knowledge and with certain things. They don't really think for themselves. Well, I believe my dog totally has a mind of his own. He makes weird noises for attention and drags around his bowl for food and water.
He's a Bishon. His name is Nick.
Another thought is that I believe he has a little of my grandpa in him.
He's a pretty good dog but he's got a grumpy side to him.
He LOVES car rides. :)
In all, he has character. His white miserable, scruffy hair and fat belly doesn't stop me from loving him any less.

He's adorable.
And I wouldn't change him to have a long beautiful coat or skinny body because he has sentimental value.
But my dog, he's the next best thing. He is the present my grandpa brought us and I will always keep him.
My dog Nick...he's awesome.
i know how much you love that dog and the pics of the two of you are so cute
